Private or group polo lessons are available at Oakwood Arena.

Whether you know how to ride or are just beginning,
instructor Claudia Howell will teach you from the ground up.

She uses a combination of ground school, polo drills and polo riding exercises to help you get a handle on the what goes into playing the "sport of kings."

Lessons are chock full of information presented in an enjoyable way. If it isn't fun, what's the point?

Claudia started riding at age six. She showed hunter/jumpers as a teenager, and taught riding as an adult. Polo has been a passion for more than 25 years. She's a USPA-rated player and is the polo instructor at Tacoma Polo Club.
